Between Classes and After Close
Day porter support handles the ten-minute reset between classes where a studio needs it; the full clean happens after the last session. Both are written into the scope so neither is improvised.

Austin fitness is small rooms worked hard. A spin studio that turns over every hour, a hot yoga room that never fully dries between classes, a climbing gym with chalk on every surface, a CrossFit box with rubber floors and an open bay door. Members notice smell before they notice dirt, and they post about it. Cleaning has to fit around a class schedule that runs from five in the morning to nine at night and leave each room ready for the next group.
Scoped to the studio you run, not to a big-box template:
Cardio and strength floors, machines and touch points
Hot yoga and group rooms with real dry time
Rubber and turf flooring, chalk and sweat removal
Mats, benches and shared props on a sanitizing rotation
Locker rooms, showers and changing areas
Front desk, retail shelf and lobby
Water stations and refill fountains
Climbing walls' base areas and hold-cleaning support
Entry matting for trail mud and cedar season
Trash, towel bins and recycling
Periodic floor restoration and vent work
Studios inside mixed-use buildings share a landlord boundary; the scope says where the building's crew stops and ours starts. Floor restoration comes under Austin floor care.
A boutique studio has no slack: the room that just finished a class is the room the next class walks into. The Austin plan is built around turnover between classes and a proper reset after the last one.

Hot yoga and spin rooms hold humidity and smell. The plan gives those rooms airing time, mats wiped and left to dry rather than stacked damp, and vents on a named rotation.
Chalk migrates to every ledge in a climbing gym or box, and rubber flooring holds sweat if it is only swept. Floors get the right machine and product, and horizontal surfaces are on the nightly list rather than as time allows.
Members come in from the greenbelt and, from December to February, through cedar pollen. Entry matting and the first floor surfaces run a heavier rotation through those months, then drop back.

We look at the rooms that never dry and the floors that hold sweat first, then map the rest and mark any landlord boundary.
Nightly list, between-class support where needed and periodic floor work, all in writing before the first visit.
